    I had the privilege of seeing “Les Miserables” this past weekend. Outstanding! Have not enjoyed nor been so moved by a film in yrs! Had seen the PBS version, but only in part – never in its entirety! Yes, Fr. Gordon, Valjean is the type of person our young people should be looking to for a hero these days! Re the Bishop … Hugo wisely knew that the Bishop’s role was the necessary catalyst to Valjean’s conversion! Would love to send you a copy of the DVD when it is released! PAX
